Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment and what this covers
Krythic is committed to making its website and the software it builds usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or high-contrast display modes. This statement covers all public pages of krythic.com. Software we build for clients is covered by the accessibility terms of the relevant engagement, and products we publish will each carry their own statement.
2. Accessibility features on this site
The following are implemented and verified on every page:
- A skip link to the main content as the first item reachable by keyboard.
- Full keyboard operation — every function is reachable and usable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator that the sticky header cannot obscure.
- Semantic landmarks, labelled navigation regions, and a single, correctly ordered heading outline on each page.
- Text contrast well above the required minimum: body text at roughly 15:1 and secondary text at roughly 7:1 against their backgrounds.
- Interactive targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels, with primary controls at 44 pixels or larger for touch.
- Text that scales without loss of content or function, and a layout that reflows to a single column at narrow widths and at 400% zoom.
- Motion that respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference, and support for forced-colours and high-contrast display modes.
- Forms with programmatic labels, hints tied to their fields, and errors described in text rather than by colour alone.
- Full operation without JavaScript — navigation stays visible and the contact form submits normally.
- No CAPTCHA, no cognitive puzzle, and no time limit anywhere on the site.
3. What we do on an ongoing basis
Automated accessibility scans using axe-core run against every page, at desktop and mobile viewport sizes, on every code change; a failing scan blocks the change from being merged. Manual keyboard walkthroughs, contrast verification, zoom and reflow checks are performed before each release. Accessibility acceptance criteria are written into work items before implementation rather than reviewed afterwards. Our internal engineering standard, which applies to client work as well as to this site, targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA on every user-facing surface.
4. Conformance status
This website conforms to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, with the exception noted in section 5. WCAG 2.2 Level AA encompasses the WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements referenced by EN 301 549 v3.2.1, the harmonised European standard currently cited under the European Accessibility Act, and anticipates the WCAG 2.2 baseline of EN 301 549 v4.1.1. The same conformance level satisfies the Revised Section 508 standards and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirement of the US Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule.
A detailed, criterion-by-criterion accessibility conformance report in VPAT format is available on request from krythictechnologies@outlook.com.
5. Known limitations and alternatives
We would rather name a gap than imply there is none.
- Assistive-technology testing is not yet complete. Our conformance assessment rests on automated scanning and expert manual review. Automated tools detect only part of what the guidelines require, so testing with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver is scheduled and our conformance claim is provisional until it is done. If you encounter a problem with a screen reader, we want to hear about it and will treat it as a defect.
- No dark theme. The site renders light regardless of your operating system's colour preference. If light backgrounds are a barrier for you, your browser's reading mode or an extension such as Dark Reader will work on this site, and a dark theme is planned.
- Forced-colours support is implemented but not yet hardware-validated on Windows High Contrast mode.
In every case, all information and functionality on this site is also available by emailing krythictechnologies@outlook.com, and we will provide any of it in an alternative format on request.
6. Disproportionate burden
Krythic claims no disproportionate burden exemption and relies on no microenterprise exemption for the accessibility of this website. Where something is not yet conformant, it is listed in section 5 with our plan to address it, not excused.
7. Feedback, complaints, and enforcement
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in an alternative format, contact krythictechnologies@outlook.com. Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using if you know them.
We acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days and give you our assessment and intended remediation timeline within 20 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, users in the European Union may escalate to the national market surveillance or enforcement authority designated under the European Accessibility Act in their member state; the European Commission maintains the list of designated national authorities. Users in the United States may contact the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. We would much rather resolve the issue directly and quickly.
8. Contact and document details
Accessibility contact: krythictechnologies@outlook.com. General contact: krythictechnologies@outlook.com or the contact form. Krythic operates remotely; a postal address is available on request.
This statement was prepared on August 28, 2026 following a self-evaluation of krythic.com using automated testing with axe-core, manual keyboard and structural review, and contrast analysis of the site's design tokens. It is reviewed at least annually and after any significant change to the site.
Building something that has to be accessible?
Accessibility conformance is a procurement requirement for a growing number of buyers, and a rewrite if it is retrofitted. We deliver WCAG 2.2 AA as standard and can document it for your review process.
